These Nollywood actors  are talented. They have made so much positive impact in the industry and they have thousands of Nigerian youths looking up to them as role models for a lot reasons especially those who are working so hard to better their acting craft.

They may not be the pioneers of the industry but it won’t be out of place to say that these people contributed just as much as the pioneers themselves.

One cannot successfully talk about certain development in Nollywood without making reference to some of these people. They are just here to stay.

It is understandable that some of these actors go off the scene for some time in order to explore other areas of their lives which is also very good. Thus, some of them go away for some time after marriage, or due to political appointments, business ventures or health issues among other reasons.

While we wish those that have been away for some health issues our best recovery wishes we need rest back on screen as soon as possible.  Their true fans and colleagues need them back on screen as 2017 unfolds.

Though he has been away from acting for some time now, Ike has been acting for more a decade now with hundreds of films to his credit.

Emeka is known for his creativity and ability to interpret roles easily. He has lots of awards to his credit.

He has acted in films such as After My Heart, Test My Heart, A Can of Worms, Love Affair, Stigma, Secret Act, Housemates and the man, The Snake Girl, Heavy Battle, Wind of Love, 100 Days in the Jungle and Not Man Enough among others. And yes, we want him back on screens.

The mother of one has been away from the picture since her marriage to a business mogul, Churchil and we understand that family comes first.

Tonto is one actress that makes her audience stay clued to their screens due to how natural she is on the screen. She is highly talented and versatile. She takes on any role and she gives life to her characters.

The multi-talented actress has featured in movies like 7 Graves, Crisis in Paradise , Insecurity , Away Match , Games Fools Play , The Plain Truth , Love my Way, Before the Fall , Total Love , Strength to Strength  and Missing Rib  among many.

Again, the 31-year-old actress has so many awards and nominations to her credit.

  1. Nonso Diobi:

He has been away for a very long time now and yes, we want him back. Just like others, Nonso is very good at what he does and has won several awards and has lots of nominations as an actor.

The 40-year-old movie star has starred in films such as Ass on Fire, Before Ordination, Be My Val, Clash of Interest and Divided Secret among others.

This diva is one of very few hardworking actors in the country and her fans sure need to see more of her in 2017.

The award winning actress, having worked with countless film makers within and outside the country, has acted in movies such as men in love, Slip of Fate, Tears of a Child, Secret Shadows, Gangster Paradise and Area Mama, to mention few.

  1. Desmond Elliot:

Though the handsome actor is currently running a political office, lots of his fans and colleagues need him back on stage.

He is known for good movies and his ability to interpret his characters as expected. He is sure one of Nollywood’s best.

The 42-year-old has acted in films such as Supremacy, Too Late to Claim, Traumatized, Unbreakable Affair, Up to Me, Without Apology , The Wolves and Zoza amidst countless others

  1. Ini Edo:

This screen goddess needs no introduction. She has paid her dues in the industry and has done well for herself.

She is versatile and highly creative. She has lots of nominations and awards for her hard work.

Ini has been away from acting for some time now and we hope 2017 brings her back.

Just like Desmond Elliot, she is currently occupying a political position in her State of origin.
