About 40 people are missing after a landslide swept through the living quarters of mining workers in northwest China early Wednesday, state media reported.
The landslide struck around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, burying five dormitories and three houses of the Wuzhou mining company in Shanyang county, Shaanxi province, according to Chinese state-run news agency Xinhua.
