Why Add A Snake To Atiku’s Load? Reno Omokri Comes For Dele Momodu For Telling Atiku To Call Buhari And Concede [OPEN]

On Tuesday, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, launched an attack on Dele Momodu, the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, for asking Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s presidential candidate, to call President Muhammadu Buhari.

Momodu on Tuesday gave the advice apparently referring to the ongoing announcement of last Saturday’s presidential results by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

From the results so far announced by INEC, President Muhammadu Buhari is currently leading Abubakar.

However, the media mogul said the former vice president has more to gain by calling Buhari.

Momodu said: “My dear WAZIRIN, as a believer, you are aware that only God can give or take power. You’ve written your name in gold. Do not wait a minute longer. Please, pick that phone and call President Muhammadu Buhari. You have much more to gain Sir… Pass on the burden!”

‏But reacting on his official Twitter page, Omokri wrote: “Dear @DeleMomodu

“I know for a fact you have @Atiku’s phone number, email address and WhatsApp details.

“Why do you choose to do this publicly? Why add to the already heavy burden the man is carrying? He is carrying an elephant. Why add a snake to his load?”

In a very related story, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation has asked the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to move for a rejection of the results of the presidential election which is being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and call for a civil disobedience.

In his tweets on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode described the election as a charade and urged Atiku to release the authentic results submitted by PDP agents nationwide.

He also called on Atiku to give the Federal Government an ultimatum to announce the authentic results.
