According to recent reports, suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed an unknown number of people in fresh attacks in Borno State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the insurgents attacked two mosques during prayers at Gubio town, an area in the northern part of Borno State.
A Daily Post reports states that the explosions happened at about 7.30pm
during the late evening prayer by Muslims.
A witness, leader of the Youth Vigilante group in the area, Musa Mohammed told newsmen in Maiduguri that the terrorists planted the explosives before the evening prayers.
Mohammed said, “When we go back we would count the number of corpses and victims and we would give it to the medical workers for your reports.”
Although the casualties involved in the blasts have not been confirmed and no official statement from the Nigerian Army.
