Buhari vs Atiku: Davido And Small Doctor Go ‘Head To Head’, Join Opposing Camps [DETAILS]

With Nigeria’s 2019 presidential elections barely a week away, Nigerian musicians David Adeleke aka Davido and Adekunle Temitope popularly known as Small Doctor, are the latest celebrities to announce who their preferred candidates are.

In a post on Twitter on Sunday, Davido said he is not a party man but will be supporting industry colleague, Banky W who is running on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) in his quest to represent Eti-Osa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

He also said he would be supporting Mr Jollof of the African Action Congress (AAC), Dapo Abiodun of the APC in the Ogun State governorship election and Shina Peller for Oyo House of Reps.

For the Presidential election, Davido said he would be supporting former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

On his own part, Small Doctor on Instagram endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of the APC for the presidential polls.

The Penalty crooner who made the post on Sunday alonside an animated video, explained that he was inspired to endorse President Buhari and VP Osinbajo after a meeting with Buhari-Osinbajo South West Support Group (BOSWG)

The musician also using the tune of his hit song ‘Penalty’ credited Buhari for fighting corruption in Nigeria.

His post reads: “After meeting with the BOSWG, I believe we should stand up for what we believe in. We all should support and re-elect President Buhari.

“If you no vote Buhari, hide your face, won ti gba opposition lo throwing.”
