Reports reveal that President Muhammadu Buhari has told his ministers-designate to observe the rule of law and shun impunity in the conduct of government activities during the retreat holding in Abuja.
The president spoke this morning at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja at the commencement of the two-day presidential retreat for the 36 ministers-designate.
The theme of the retreat is “Delivering Change: From Percepts to Practice.”
The president said the ministers-designate must count themselves privileged to have been chosen to serve among millions of Nigerians.
More importantly, Buhari noted that the retreat was aimed at getting the ministers-designate acquainted with the direction of his administration.
He reminded them of his campaign promises of fighting corruption and insecurity as well as revamping the economy.
Finally, President Buhari also charged his ministers to work together as a team.
