Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, have arrested the General Overseer of Tongue of Fire Restoration Ministry, Chukwuma Nkwocha, for allegedly camping and sexually assaulting 30 underage girls in the Sogunle area of Lagos State.
The 38-year-old self-acclaimed man of God had a camp where she kept the victims and defiled them at will until he was bursted by the police in the evening of Tuesday, August 30, 2016 during a church service.
According to reports, the pastor was said to have lured the victims aged between 10 and 15 who were usually wandering the streets.
TheSheet.ng learnt that the police arrested the pastor following a petition that he was camping and defiling girls.
He was taken away from the church premises alongside the victims.
The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest of Nkwocha.
Badmos said the State’s Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has ordered thorough investigation of the case.
She said: “The Command rescued about 30 young girls from the pastor’s custody and two of them acknowledged he had canal knowledge of them. Investigation is ongoing.”
