Former Barcelona midfielder, Anderson Luís de Souza, popularly known as Deco has described World Best Player and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo as ‘sick’ in a recent interview.
The 38 year old Deco was a teammate of Ronaldo as the Portugal National team reached the final of the Euro 2004 which they hosted and lost to Greece. The ex-Chelsea star was responding to questions asked by reporters on two of his ex-teammates, Ronaldo and Messi.
Deco told ESPN Brasil that: “The guy (Ronaldo) is sick, I haven’t seen anyone in training sessions like that. I think it’s really difficult to be like that.”
Speaking on the comparison between Ronaldo and Messi, Deco said, “They are completely different. Though Messi takes care of himself like a normal athlete, Ronaldo is unbelievable.
“It borders on sickness because he always wants to be the best at his job. He competes in everything.
“I think it’s great to see both players in action, it’s almost impossible to compare them.
“If you look at one’s game it’s totally different from the other’s. There are no parameters for comparison,” he added.
