It was a harvest of tears yesterday, Saturday, November 5, 2016 as six siblings who were poisoned to death were laid to rest in Ekwulumili, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State.
The children identified as Chukwuebuka, 17; Chinemerem, 15; Afomachukwu, 13; Chekwubechukwu, 11; Onyekachukwu, 9 and Chukwuziterem, 7 died after consuming food poisoned by a yet-to-be-identified person July 15, 2016.
Bishop Michael Anene of Brotherhood of Cross and Star presided over the burial ceremony which was laden with tears.
He cursed out on the perpetrator of the wicked act and warned that the person should expect grave punishment from God.
The six children were all buried inside one grave but in different caskets.
One can only imagine the feelings of the parents of the deceased children, Apostle and Mrs. Oramalu who initially threatened to commit suicide.
May their souls rest in peace.
