Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, was in court on Tuesday, over corruption charges preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Fani-Kayode was supposed to be arraigned last Friday but it was stalled as the judge failed to show up in court.
The case was consequently adjourned until Tuesday, but was also stalled by the judge’s absence for a second time.
Recall that the anti-graft commission had on Friday, May 6, 2016 sent an official invitation letter to Fani-Kayode summoning him to explain his role in the presidential campaign funds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 presidential elections.
Fani-Kayode was later transferred to Lagos State from Abuja by the anti-graft agency.
