A 19-year-old man identified as  Charles Igbinovia was brutally matched to death along side another victim with many others injured as Irate youths clashed in Lagos Island on Sunday.

According to reports, the tragic event which took place at  Odunfa area of the State, lasted for more than 3 hours without any security agents around to intervene.

An eyewitness said ” the fight broke out when a masquerade said to be named Adakeja in the area was prevented from parading the street by some youths in the area. This led to an argument between supporters of the masqurede and the youths. A fight broke out which turned bloody.”

However, the area if peaceful at the moment as police have been stationed there.
