How Dangote Reconciled Don Jazzy And Olamide (Photos)

When it was first reported that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, was the brain behind the reconciliation of Olamide and Don Jazzy after their Headies clash, many of their fans took the news with a pinch of salt.

However, a photo has emerged showing the warring duo in a group photograph with the billionaire. The picture, it seems, was taken either before or after the ‘reconciliation picture’ both posted on their social media pages, effectively confirming that Dangote, indeed, had a hand in their decision to bury the hatchet.

Recall that the two musical artistes had engaged in a war of words while on live television during the Headies 2015 award ceremony before taking the fight to Twitter with the pouring out of vulgar language.

The rift, which started after Mavin records singer, Reekado Banks, won the Next Rated prize at the 2015 Headies Awards, got Olamide infuriated and the label CEO while giving his speech on stage, stated that despite the fact that the next rated award went to another singer, his boy, Lil Kesh will always be a winner.

Two days later, the two icons, at the same time on Instagram and Twitter, released a photo along with a statement that they had reconciled, leaving their fans with doubts about the actual processes leading to the reunion.

While some of their fans alleged that the peaceful resolution was brokered by Lagos State Commissioner for Arts, Tourism and Culture, Folarin Coker, there were also unproven reports at the time that it was moved by Dangote.

It was gathered that Dangote settled the rift at his Lagos home where he hosted both label bosses.
