Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has said he is hopeful injured midfielder, Francis Coquelin will be back to the squad soon.
The 24 year old suffered a knee injury over the weekend at the Chelsea-Arsenal 2-0 defeat and had to be withdrawn at half-time with defender Calum Chambers. He is currently undergoing scan to determine the extent of the injury.
According to the French manager, he hopes the injury will be “short-term problem”.
“Francis Coquelin will be out and we have no major problems for anybody else. It should be a similar squad,” Wenger told the club’s official website.
“His knee is swollen and he is being assessed but we hope it is just a short-term problem.”
Coquelin, however, will not be available as Arsenal faces Tottenham in the League Cup third round on Wednesday.
