I’M SO SORRY! How ‘African Time’ Almost Ruined The Biggest Night Of Simi’s Career [OPEN]

Many fans of beautiful Nigerian musician Simi were left fuming after she showed up late for her concert at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel on Sunday.

Simi was forced to apologize to fans who showed up early for the event but were left disappointed after having to wait for over three hours before the concert kicked off.

She also took to social media after the event to share her remorse for the way things turned out.

Most of the people there complained that the event was supposed to start by 6pm but she showed up by 11pm and with so much disorganization at the event.

But when Simi got on stage, she issued an apology to the audience and implored them to enjoy the show.

The singer also went up to her Twitter page to apologize as so many of her fans asked for one, here is what she wrote:

“I’m sorrry I’m probably more upset than everyone, but I accept responsibility. There was a show here the night before and it took forever to clear out and set up. I didn’t have time to soundcheck. I apologize. That said, I’m so thankful to every1 that came and stayed”

SImi’s boyfriend and frequent collaborator, Adekunle Gold, has posted a message of support for Simi on Instagram.

The Afro-urban singer, who performed with the X3M Music star, said he will fight for her forever.

He wrote: “Know this, we your true fans know you were sorry. And before the clouds of those reviews set in, I would like to cover you in joy and celebration.

“You were beautiful, electrifying and incredible tonight my darling. I am so proud of you. Thank you for letting me share that stage with you. It will always be my honour. Forever in your army fighting for you.”
