Ireti Doyle Attacked In Lagos Traffic; Says Ambode Needs To Get Cracking!!!


Popular Nollywood actress, Iretiola Doyle has called out the Governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode, on Twitter, over a recent experience she had with the men of the underworld while in traffic.

The award winning actress who just returned from the UK premiere of FIFTY, a movie where she is a lead character – said her ordeal took place at Ilupeju bypass, Town Planning way.

The hoodlums shattered her car window, stole her phone and her wrist was also cut in the process and she ended up with about 6 stitches on her wrist after visiting the hospital to mend the cut.


Taking it out on Ambode, she said somebody should tell another somebody who may know somebody who knows Governor Ambode that he He needs to get cracking.

She revealed her ordeal via her twitter handle @IretiolaDoyle: “#TRAFFICROBBERIES Shattered window/stolen phone/6 stiches…1 inch deeper and it would have been a different story.”

She continued by tweeting: “#TRAFFICROBBERIES…so pls; somebody tell another somebody who may know somebody who knows Gov. Ambode…HE NEEDS TO GET CRACKING!!!”

According to him, he was heading home at about 9pm yesterday after he finished his production for the day at a movie location when he and two others in his Hummer SUV were attacked by 8 armed men.
