It Was Wrong To Move Army Headquarter To A War Zone- Colonel Tony Nyiam



Retired Army colonel and erstwhile member of the Presidential Advisory Committee, PAC in a damning revelation during a radio programme monitored in Lagos Monday Night, criticized the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to move the military command base to Borno state. The firebrand colonel said “you don’t need to move the army headquarter to the war zone, it is usually base at the seat of power’’

“It is wrong to do that, when Collin Powell was the head of the US Joint Chief of Staff, during the United State invasion of Iraq, the Pentagon was never moved’’

Colonel Nyiam dealt with sundry issues ranging from how the Nigeria military was over stretched, down to the His clamour for the establishment of a non-conventional fighters to battle the unconventional war at hand.


He however concluded by asking Nigerians to support the Buhari Administration saying “Buhari is a good man, a good Muslim and he can do the job’’
