Friday, July 7, 2017 has been declared public holiday by the Jigawa Government to enable public servants to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari whose health condition has deteriorated.
This was announced on Thursday in a statement by Alhaji Isma’il Ibrahim, the Public Relations Officer of the state’s Head of Civil Service.
Ibrahim said that the State Executive Council took the decision at its sitting on July 5.
The statement read: “During this day, it is expected that all public servants and the entire people of the state will pray to Almighty Allah to grant our president quick recovery.
“It is also expected that they will also pray to Almighty Allah to grant Jannatul Firdausi to late Danmasanin Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule.”
Recall that controversial Catholic cleric, Fr. Ejike Mbaka has narrated series of visions he claimed he had on the President’s health condition.
The President has been away on a medical vacation in the United Kingdom since May 7 and has not made a public appearance ever since his second trip which has aroused suspicion that all may not be well.
