Kings Of The El Classico: How Real Madrid Bowed To Barca’s Royalty

Real Madrid was Saturday, blitzed by their arch-nemesis, Barcelona, in the El Classico at the Bernabeu.

A brace from Luis Suarez and goals from Neymar and Andres Iniesta, destroyed Real Madrid and ensured a 4-0 El Clasico victory for Barcelona.

With Lionel Messi starting the match from the bench, the Catalan club got an early goal from Suarez to set the tone. A fine pass from Sergi Roberto through to the Uruguayan, who made no mistake with a calm finish into the far side, before Iniesta sent a through ball to Neymar to grab the second.

Barcelona were in criuse control and with Cristiano Ronaldo doing pretty much nothing, Barca added two more in the second half. Messi joined the frey as a substitute in the 57th minute, as he saw his first action since his September knee injury.

With the win, Barca now have a six-point advantage over Real Madrid on the summit of the La Liga table.
