Manchester United starlet, Marcus Rashford is taking shooting tips from ace striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a bid to break into the Red Devils’ first team.

The rookie striker who broke into Manchester United’s first team last season has been staying behind to work on his technique with the legendary Swedish striker.

Ibrahimovic has also been teaching Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard his shooting technique during extra sessions at Carrington.

A United source revealed: “Zlatan has been staying behind at end of regular training sessions working on his shooting and free-kicks.

“He has also been giving Rashford, Martial and Lingard finishing tips as well. He is keen to help the younger players.

“Zlatan looks to be someone who will be good at coaching the youngsters. He has a natural ability to teach and wants to help them improve.

“This sessions have been helping Rashford a lot, as he is only just starting out in what is going to be a long career for him.”

Ibrahimovic has been in fine form so far this season scoring three goals in two Premier League matches and he is also dreaming of winning the EPL title in his first season with United.

The former Barcelona and Juventus forward also scored in United’s 2-1 Charity Shield win over Leicester at the beginning of August.

He said after United’s 2-0 win over Southampton on Friday night: “I believe that we can win the title, I have this vision.

“But we need to work hard for it and we will do everything to bother all the other teams that want to win. Yes, I’ve scored three goals so far and I’m happy for that but it is only the beginning.

“The season is long, I will work hard, the team will work hard and slowly we will get better and better, so let’s see what the outcome will be.

“I’m focussing on trying to help my team win and after two games we have two wins — which is the most important thing. Who scores is less important, as long as we are winning.”
