Roma striker, Edin Dzeko has been ruled out of all competitions due to a knee injury. The striker is expected to be out for between three and four weeks, the club has confirmed.
Dzeko, who is on loan from English side Manchester City, picked up the injury during Saturday’s 5-1 win over newcomers, Carpi, in Serie A and was replaced in the 46 min by club legend, Francesco Totti, who also picked up an injury in the 55th min of the encounter and was replaced by Juan Manuel Iturbe.
The 29 year old Bosnian will miss Roma’s Champions League game against BATE and the Serie A encounter against Palermo. He will also be missing in action for the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Wales and Cyprus.
Dzeko has made six appearances for the Rome club, scoring once.
