The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has issued a statement about the recent tremor in Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Signed by Dr. Felix Ale, the agency’s chief media head, NASDRA attributed the cause of to passive sources, and didn’t expatiate.
It however added that the nature of the sources will soon be determined after the completion of yet another on-going thorough and further investigation of the incident by experts in the space agency.
He stated that Dr Ofonime Akpan, Head, Seismology Division of the agency, led the team that was able to establish that the Seismological Station of NASRDA located at Kujama in Kaduna State accurately recorded the incident.
The agency also pledged to make public its detailed reports as soon as further investigations on the incident were completed.
