The Nigerian Entertainment Conference took place yesterday at the Eko Hotel and Suites. This is it’s third edition and it had as it’s theme: Buying And Selling Nigerian Entertainment… And Everything In-Between.
Respected contributors to Nigerian show business were awarded NET Honours in recognition of their efforts in the promotion and development of Nigerian entertainment at the third edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference.
The NET Honours are awarded annually at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, which is organized by Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET).
They recognize media and entertainment personalities for their contribution to the growth and development of the entertainment industry in Nigeria, which cuts across music, film, fashion, comedy, art & design, media & broadcasting and branding.
Some recipients of the award were Yoruba movie actor Tajudeen Oyewole (Abija); Corporate Pictures CEO, Razak Abdullahi; legendary actor and musician, Moses Olaiya (Baba Sala) music producer, Cobhams Asuquo; media executive, Alex Okosi.
The conference was hosted by ace comedian Tee-A . Speakers at the event were Mo Abudu, Tokunbo Adodo, Alex Okosi, Joke Silva, George Thorpe, M.I Abaga, and Jason Njoku.
Panelist were Chike Maduegbuna, Shina Pelle, Ifeoma Williams, Demola Ogundele, Mai Atafo, AY and a host of others.
Moderators for the event were Zainab Balogun, Oreka Godis, Osagie Alonge and others.
Some of the sponsors were Mtv Base, British Council, First Bank, Hiphop TV.
