Africa’s most popular music duo and famous twins, Peter and Paul Okoye aka P-Square today survived a car crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, after their Range Rover SUV was hit by a lorry.
According to Peter Okoye, the accident occurred as the duo alongside their assistant manager and band drummer, Papi. J. Ameh, who also produced their hit song ‘Alingo’, were returning from a show.
Peter took to twitter to share the story: ‘Fans pls help us thank God. Myself @rudeboypsquare @papiijameh and our assistant manager @wandoskie had an accident early hours of today on our way back from a show in ibadan. Along lagos ibadan express road. A Lorry hit and dragged us for over 12 seconds. But Our Lord and Our God is always faithful and quick to show Mercy. Thank God we survived (sic).’
Paul Okoye also collaborated the story, tweeting: ‘Thank u guys for your prayers…..We thank God for protecting us from the car accident early this morning, we re fine, presently in Abuja for the KING OF POP CONCERT..,,God bless u all…..God is Good (sic).‘
