General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye has begged members of the church to quit uploading his sermons on social media.
The man of God who was heavily criticised recently for saying men should not marry ladies who can’t cook or pray for long hours, made the plea during a youth programme plenary session ‘Vessels Unto Honour’ this October.
“I am talking to my children now, I am not asking you to put it on Youtube, because each time I talk to my children, some people will rise up and cry out,” the pastor said, noting the controversial statements on the kind of partners his members should marry.
Continuing, “Oh God, they came down heavy on me. And I wasn’t talking to everybody! I was only talking to my own children. I was talking to those who want to know how a man and a woman could be married for 49 years and still be on honeymoon.”
“So, I am talking to you tonight. I am talking to my children and I am not asking you to put it on the internet. Spare me the problem. I am talking to those who want to make it to heaven!” He added.
