Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said the choice of Prince Abubakar Audu as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 21, 2015 governorship election, has automatically given them victory over the ruling party in the state.
The state publicity secretary of the party, Prince Bode Ogunmola, in a statement, remarked that the Nov 21st election is already a done deal for the PDP, expressing optimism that PDP will defeat Audu at the poll again and again.
He recalled that the PDP has since 2003, defeated the ex – governor at least four times and noted that the November election won’t be an exception, adding the PDP is already celebrating its victory.
According to Ogunmola, “the choice of the former governor is the biggest blunder of all times. This election will be a walk over for the PDP. Audu will be no match for the candidate of the PDP, because the electorate in the state rejected him in the past and they will continue to reject him no matter the number of times he presents himself for election and no matter the platform.”
