Videos have emerged of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu campaigning against anything that will threaten the unity of Nigeria in 2012.

Kanu’s renewed struggle for the realization of the Republic of Biafra dream obviously forced some people to go on a digging spree which yielded the video results that have been circulating across social media.

Popular journalist and writer, Tolu Ogunlesi shared the videos on his Twitter page on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

The videos showed ‘patriotic’ Kanu protesting the spate of insurgency in the country as at the time alongside several UK-based Nigerians.

He vehemently condemned terrorism and their sponsors who were determined to “tear Nigeria apart” and also warned that Nigeria might be at stake if nothing was done about the terror killings.

According to him, what is happening in Somalia will be a tea party compare to what will befall Nigeria if the attacks were not curbed.

Kanu could be heard saying: “The reason we are here today is to protest against the killing of innocent women and children all over Nigeria, especially in the northern part of the country.

“We are not happy, we are not pleased with what is happening and that is why we are here today as you can see, there are lots of Nigerians and we protesting about the killing of families, people who are determined to tear the country apart and it is not something we support and it is not something we like to see to continue.

“We are today to tell Nigerian government that we cannot accept what is happening. If it does continue, it will lead to violence in the country, there will be no Nigeria for anybody to go, there will be no Nigeria for anyone to refer to and what is happening in Somalia today will be a tea party, so cannot allow this nonsense to continue, something has to be done.”

Fellow protesters were heard at the background screaming words against the Boko Haram attacks in the country.
