Sir Shina Peters is revered by many in the social scene, particularly for his legendary Afro-juju music in the 80s. He once enjoyed nationwide fame and he is still fondly remembered by many.
The music veteran is also known for his energetic performances and dance moves. He even popularised the ‘Ijo Shina’ dance step.
At a recent event in Lagos, famous entertainers, Tiwa Savage and Tonto Dikeh, were spotted kneeling to greet the music veteran. Perhaps this was done to pay their respects to the legend.
Their show of respect surprised and impressed many fans seeing as the entertainers are beautiful ladies who might be perceived to be haughty because they are also famous. No doubt, Sir Shina Peters was impressed by the gesture.
At the event, which was a perfume launch, the Afro-juju star was dressed in a black blazer paired with red pants and red shoes and he looked like he was enjoying himself very much.
Tiwa and Tonto were also all smiles at the event. Former BBNaija housemates, Kemen and Bassey, were in attendance as well.
Sir Shina Peters has no doubt carved a niche for himself in the industry with his Afro-juju music and he is still very well respected.
Tonto Dikeh, recently presented the award for outstanding lawmaker of the year to controversial politician, Dino Melaye.
The Nigerian Goodwill Ambassador Awards 2018 was held a few days ago at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Center, Abuja. The renowned event was graced by a number of celebrities both in the political field and entertainment industry.
King Tonto, King Ateke Tom Mimi Orjiekwe and others attended the Gala Night of the event in gorgeous attires.
During the course of the occasion, Senator Dino Melaye was privileged to receive an award as the ‘outstanding lawmaker of the year’ and it was presented to him by Tonto Dikeh.
