Ghana’s annual consumer price inflation rose to 16.9 percent in May from 16.8 percent the previous month, the statistics office said on Wednesday.
Ghana’s commodities exporter is grappling with fiscal problems including a nearly 22 percent fall in the cedi currency since January to record lows.
