Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo de Lima, has hit out at the Brazilian National team and coach Dunga. The two-time World Cup winner and three-time World Best Player has said that the Selecao will struggle to qualify for the 2018 edition of the World Cup to be hosted by Russia.
39 year old Ronaldo stated that the current crop of Brazilian players were the weakest and least talented in recent years given their failures at the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 Copa America.
The former Inter Milan striker made this known while speaking with Sport TV, saying, “Of teams from the past few years, this side provides the least hope for our fans.
“We’re going to find it difficult to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, not because of the opponents we face but because of us.
“In the last few tournaments we have played in, Brazil were inferior to their opponents,” he added.
