English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, are reportedly tracking Gent’s Nigerian winger Moses Simon, mirror.co.uk has reported.
The Nigerian international who was on target for the Super Eagles as they trounced Cameroun 3-0 in Belgium is a long time target for the North Londoners who are also said to be keen on his club’s Belgian teammate, forward Laurent Depoitre.
Depoitre, who started and scored against Andorra on Saturday, sealed his side’s place at the Euro 2016 Finals.
Simon who is yet to score this term in the Jupiler League scored seven times last season to help Gent win the Belgian Pro League.
The 20-year-old has scored twice in four appearances for the Super Eagles since making his debut for the senior national team against Tanzania in Dar-Es-Salaam.
The report also claims that Spurs remain keen on West Brom striker Saido Berahino – for whom they had a number of bids turned down in August – but they are looking at other options ahead of January.
