‘We will give N5 Million To The Local Government With The Lowest Votes For PDP’ – Zamfara APC Declares

Zamfara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan should not count the Zamfara as one of the states that will vote for him in the February presidential elections, saying that the PDP will not get 25% votes in the state.

The party stated that it had also fixed N5million gift to any local councils that recorded the least votes for Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate in addition with a trophy.

Speaking to hundreds of APC supporters in Bungud in continuation of the inauguration of the party’s local council 2015 campaign committee, Director-General of the APC gubernatorial candidate in he state, Alhaji Ikra Aliyu Bilbis said the party will embark on house to house campaign with a view to sensitize citizens on the implication of re-electing PDP presidential candidates.

He said apart from the N5 million that will be won, a special reception would be organized to acknowledge the performance of the local council after the 2015 general election.

Meanwhile, the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Zone A has endorsed the candidature of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Zamfara State governorship candidate, Alhaji Sani Abdulillah Shinkafi.

Fielding questions from reporters in Gusau, the Zonal Vice President of the association, Comrade Olasunkanmi Kolawole explained that the decision of the association to endorse Sani’s candidature was informed by the fact that he is the only one that could improve the fortunes of the students, the leaders of tomorrow.

The APC Director General appealed to the electorate to vote for APC candidates at all levels for the progress of the state and nation in general, saying that, “We are appealing to patriotic citizens to cast their vote wisely by electing APC candidates only.
