Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, will have to be compensated with over £30million if Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich eventually decides to sack him, but this move is highly unlikely as Chelsea are currently involved in a project to build their own stadium and this will gulp a whole lot of money.
The club released a statement on Monday, pledging to stick with Mourinho who is under immense pressure, with the Blues sitting in 16th place after the team recorded its 4th defeat in 8 league matches.
Mourinho signed a new contract extension worth around £8.5million-a-year in the summer and this contract ties him to the Stamford Bridge outfit until 2019.
However, with the recent trend of results, Chelsea are in serious danger of missing out on the Champions League next season.
No Premier League club has ever made it into the top four, after picking up eight points from their first 8 games.
