WORLD CUP QUALIFIER: Rohr Recalls Ighalo, Moses, Etebo For Algeria Cracker [FULL LIST]

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has released a 24-man squad for the upcoming Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying match against the Desert Foxes of Ageria in Uyo on November 12.

Chelsea forward Victor Moses and his Watford counterpart, Odion Ighalo,who were not part of the trip to Ndola where Nigeria defeated Zambia 2 – 1 were included in the team list.

Moses was unable to participate in the last match because of an injury while Ighalo was given time off for the burial of his father.

Ighalo’s Watford teammate, Success Isaac, has been dropped after picking up an injury, along with Turkey-based Musa Mohammed and Victor Osimhen.


Nigeria’s top scorer at the 2016 Olympics Men’s Football tournament in Brazil Ogbenekaro Etebo also made the list for the showdown billed for the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on November 12.

Also making their entry to the side are ADO Den Haag right fullback Tyronne Ebuehi and Russia-based defender Brian Idowu and former junior international goalkeeper Dele Alampasu

The Eagles currently top Group B on three points ahead of Algeria and Cameroon on a point each, with Zambia bringing up the rear.

Camp opens on Monday, November 7 in Abuja, where they’ll train till Thursday before moving to Uyo.
